Sleep Over With the Fish at Birch Aquarium at Scripps
Scripps Institution of Oceanography/UCSD
Have you ever wondered if sharks snore or if lobsters walk in their sleep?
Now is the time to find out during an educational and action-packed
slumber party
for children and adults at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution
of Oceanography, Friday-Saturday, March 31- April 1, 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 a.m.
Walk the plank to Asleep in the Deep: Pirates, an overnight adventure
for all ages.
Before bedding down for the night among the aquarium's inhabitants,
participants will take part in a variety of special activities
designed to inspire "pirates" to protect the seas by becoming
sea-friendly. Explore the aquarium and museum to uncover bountiful
marine treasures.
Fee for Asleep in the Deep: Pirates is $50 per person (ages 6 and
older). Each "pirate" will receive an evening snack, breakfast, and
a souvenir pillowcase (treasure bag). For more information and
reservations, please call the Birch Aquarium at 858/534-7336.
