Fish Health Management Videos

This series of videos was developed by the University of Florida's Cooperative Extension Service, working directly with commercial fish producers and veterinarians. Each video takes about 20 minutes to view and covers a distinct aspect of fish health management.

Volume I :     Fish Basics Click here to view a clip from the video	This is the introductory tape which goes through the major physiological factors which make fish unique and how they play an important role in maintaininghealth.
Volume II :   Water Quality Click here to view a clip from the video	The key to fish health management, water quality parameters important to fish, are discussed individually and then as a group, showing how they interact with each other. Methods for maintaining good water quality are discussed as well.
Volume III :  Nutrition Click here to view a clip from the video	While most nutritional problems are only manifested as disease in the long term, proper nutrition and its importance to health are discussed in this tape.
Volume IV :   Parasites Click here to view a clip from the video	The major external and internal parasites of fish are discussed, including methods for preventing and treating infection.
Volume V :     Bacteria Click here to view a clip from the video	Bacterial diseases, their cause, prevention, and treatment are discussed, including reference to proper use of antibiotics.
Volume VI :   Treatments Click here to view a clip from the video	Specific drugs and chemical treatments available for fish diseases are discussed, including counter indications and their impact on aquatic systems.
