In-depth exploration and photography of the Amazon rainforest under the guidance of Dr. David Schleser. Amateur and professional photographers will have no shortage of subjects, the trip is also ideal for non-photographers interested in a land-based natural history experience. Led by Dr. David Schleser, co-owner of Natures Images, Inc., specializing in professional nature photography. Expedition based at the Madre Selva Biological Station (View Map), with excursions to surrounding areas. Emphasis on photographic techniques for tropical rain forest conditions, professional and artistic considerations in photography, and identification of subjects/themes for nature photography. Dr. Schleser has many years of experience in professional nature photography, and has authored many articles on natural history. His work has been featured in various exhibitions and used in many natural history books and magazine articles as well as interpretive displays for museums and zoos. Expedition departs Iquitos the morning of 9 July, returning to Iquitos the afternoon of 14 July.
