This month Heiko will journey to the deserts of California and Nevada to report on the interesting and endangered varieties of Desert Pupfish. |

Beginning June 19, 1998, the FishNet Explore Team travelled to the Deserts of the SouthWest to photograph endangered species of Desert Pupfish! Their trip took them to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in Arizona where the Quitobaquito Pupfish is found, and to Death Valley California and Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge for three other species of Pupfish, including the very rare Devil's Hole Pupfish.
